Monday the 10th November 2025.
A round trip of 370 miles and about 7hrs of driving in very wet weather. From London to the Mumbles.
Luckily there was a dry weather window for few hours.

Arriving in the early hours of the morning, it was still pitch black.
This small pier was empty and lit by three lights with Swansea twinkling on the horizon.

Although it’s not obvious looking at this shot. I was very windy, the scene was in a state of flux.

Closed off as the middle of the pier was under renovation.

Great stuff mate, and a long way to go for it too. The night photography is spot-on.
Cheers, Pete.

Very good. The first one could easily be the pier in my home town, Whitby. Cheers, Jon.
