Low tide on the River Thames at Chiswick. No wind just cold November air, the red building at the end caught my eye as it stood out from the greens and blues.
Fuji X100vi.

Postcard-quality west London at its best. Lovely shot.

I might have to start saving up for that Fuji X100 V1! 😊

I can honestly say that of all the cameras I’ve tried the FujiX 100vi and the Nikon Z5ii are worth the money.

My feet were on a very slimy public slipway that gets exposed a very low tides. One sudden twist and bingo…Wet!!
But I do like the clouds reflecting in the river.

I got a Nikon Z5 free of charge as an Amazon tester, in 2021. The build quality was appalling, and I haven’t used it since. The full-frame photos were good, but the battery cover fell off all the time, and I wasn’t happy with the menu system. I can only presume they have improved the camera since. https://beetleypete.com/2021/09/18/a-camera-disappointment/

No the chassis is basically the same…Its the internals that have improved.
The Z8 & Z9 are better built, but nothing like the D5 body.

I would sooner buy the Fuji, and p/ex the Nikon against it. Might try that, next year,

I’ve noticed as one gets older, your less inclined to carry a bag full of camera kit around.
Simplicity and convenience wins at the end of the day.
